Motivation?

So, my first marathon was completed on 2nd December 2012 in snow and freezing temperatures. After that followed a rest period of eight days. As soon as those days were gone I started doing short jogs of 5km and the like, to get the legs moving again.

It has now been a good month since completing the marathon and I have to admit: It has been tough to find the motivation and same determination to go out there on the roads! Even though I ensured I had my next target lined up (Copenhagen Marathon) it proofed to be more difficult to get out and running than I had expected. I have once again used My Asics (www.my.asics.dk) to put together a training plan for the marathon, but one thing is planning another thing is executing!

However, looking at my statistics I can see that during the last month I have been running 77 km during 11 workouts, not bad for a "lazy" period in my training!

For now, my focus is on sticking to my training schedule and preparing my mind for yet another marathon. Currently I am looking for a race in January that may help further boost my motivation in the beginning.
